First of all "Happy Eid" despite the fact that it's too late but better than to be left un-said. The year came to an end and yet, you still enrich your blog with the help of your companian "the cam" where a small tiny pic could tell a life time story! Therefore, i am sure you are aware of "The power of the pic".

Please never lose that talent no matter how busy you get with your studies because you are a gifted person while some people go to Special schools to have a degree in what you have right now.

Last but not least, sometimes i lose dimentions in your pic's where i wish there is a reference to it.

I have a question about your collections but i will leave it to some other time.

Best Wishes

Gharib...
It is my privilege to read such wonderful comment on my photos. It has made my day! Thank you.
Now, regarding references to the photos, I try to add some descriptions at my flicker page
http://www.flickr.com/photos/alruwaili
Yet, it is still a poor one as my time is unfairly distributed between a demanding job and a messy research.
Thanks for the Eid wishes and I’d like to take the opportunity to wish you a happiness, success and good health for the new year!

P.S.
Your questions and inquiries are welcomed.

Dear "The North"
First of all, i do thank you for your wishes for the New Year and i wish that God would grant you a healthy long life filled with happiness and joy wherever you go.
What I have mentioned in my previous post is not a compliment so you do not have to thank me for it, it is the truth and something obvious and i'm sure lots of your blog visitors agree with me on what i've said, maybe last time i did comment only on your talent in photography but this time i was able to read some of your articles and literature which i wish i have had the time to comment on, but I do find it amazing nowdays to have someone with this mentality who distinguished herself on different aspects of life not only on a career level but socially and personally as well.

In regard to the dimensions, I was not being able to put a dimension to the size of the wall in the picture titled
"جدار برلين الجوف"
till I have seen the uncovered bricks, therefore, that is why I have asked about the dimensions.

Thanks for sharing me your flicker and I will give it a visit as my time permits because I just navigated it quickly and looks awesome. In regard to the questions about your collection that I wanted to ask,i will state some of them and leave others, What is the best picture you ever took? And who inspired you and still inspiring you?

I am sorry if I you find it difficult to catch up with what I have written because I was in a hurry and was typing what comes on mind.

P.S
you do make us proud to belong to the same tribe that one of its out-come someone like yourself.

Salam
Gharib

Thank you for such sparkling words which I'll always treasure to have here on my blog.

Now to your questions; actually it is hard to say which one is my best photo because it is still on my mind. It is an idea or more like a vivid dream which I strive to get to reality… I'm still in search of it in the green tattoo on wrinkled foreheads… between the dry fingers of a castaway shepherds… beside a footmark which winds blowing its trace with fine grains of sand…

Regarding your question about who inspired me. I feel blessed –Alhamdullah- that my life is full of inspiring people (family members, friends, colleagues, profs) who continuously light up my 'down moments' with their sheer determination and dedication.

To be honest, I always have a tendency to be inspired by 'known to me' people rather than historical ones. That is because I feel the latter have been fictionally portrayed unlike the former ones who are true and alive.

Thank you again for your time and words.
